Our History
Established in the sacred city of Tirupati, Anantha College of Law has been a beacon of legal education in Andhra Pradesh, combining the city's spiritual heritage with rigorous academic standards.
Founded through the Anantha Educational Society, the institution was built on the vision of delivering legal education that is both academically sound and practically relevant — preparing students for the realities of legal practice.
Over the years, the college has grown into a respected centre of legal learning, producing graduates who serve across courts, government bodies, and legal firms throughout India.
Leadership
Dr. Ravi Anantha
B.Sc., M.Sc., LL.B., LL.M., Ph.D.
Dr. Ravi Anantha is a distinguished industrialist, entrepreneur, and educationalist based in Hyderabad. With a career spanning pharmaceuticals, food products, real estate, anti-corrosive long life coatings, trading of sugar, and legal education, he has built a diverse and impactful legacy across industry and academia.
He holds qualifications in science, chemistry, and law, including a Doctorate in Law, along with B.Sc., M.Sc., LL.B., and LL.M., and diplomas in Chemical Process, Instrumentation and Control, and Fertilizers Technology.
His doctoral research on "A Research Study on Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights Protection: A Comprehensive Analysis on National and International Legislative Frameworks" reflects his strong academic engagement with law, governance, and social responsibility.
Having started the pharmaceutical bulk-drug industry in 1987, Dr. Anantha has led and developed multiple successful ventures, including Saizen Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Sain Chem Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Nagarjuna Brand Food Products, Anantha Properties, Anantha Coating Solutions, Anantha Agency Pvt. Ltd., and Anantha Sugars & Distilleries Ltd.
Through Anantha Educational Society, he has played a significant role in advancing legal education by establishing Anantha College of Law in Tirupati, Anantha Law College in Hyderabad, and Viswa Bharathi College of Law in Muthangi, Patancheru Mandal, Hyderabad. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to enterprise, education, and meaningful social contribution.
